SAN SHI ER JIAN TM
Branding
Year: 2019
“San Shi Er Jian” draws its name from the thirty-two major marks described in Volume IV of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā Śāstra. These thirty-two marks represent the Buddha’s distinctive characteristics, which harmonise with the eighty subtle marks to form the concept of xianghao (auspicious excellence)—the union of the extraordinary and the refined nuances of worldly delight.
The logo’s geometric composition establishes an architectural framework through the interplay of beams and columns, forming the silhouette of a building. This abstract architectural structure encapsulates the studio’s design philosophy: constructing spatial environments through rigorous geometric relationships and structural equilibrium, where the sacred and the everyday converge in harmonious balance.
